Mindful
Hedon

A sanctuary for the softer appetite — where devotion tastes of salt, smoke, and something sweet.

I · The Manifesto

Be holy.
Be hungry.
Be both.

For centuries we were told to choose. Spirit or flesh. Discipline or delight. The temple or the dance floor.

Mindful Hedon is the quiet insistence that this was always a false door. That the saint and the sensualist share the same breath — held, surrendered, returned.

We gather in jungles and on coastlines, on yoga mats and around fires, to remember a body that prays in every language at once.

01 / Presence

The body is the altar

Breath, movement, touch, taste — the sacraments were always here. We practice returning to them without apology.

02 / Pleasure

Joy is a discipline

Hedonism is not indulgence; it is the skill of receiving. We cultivate attention the way others cultivate restraint.

03 / Passage

Medicine for the modern soul

From ecstatic dance to psychedelic integration, we hold the container for the journeys this life was made for.

III · The One Who Holds the Door

I built the temple
I needed to find.

For years I oscillated between the monastery and the dance floor — never quite trusting either would hold all of me. What I learned in the switching was this: the devotion I found kneeling and the devotion I found in motion were the same devotion, and the splitting had cost me decades.

Mindful Hedon is the container I wish someone had handed me at twenty-five. It is not a brand. It is a practice, and a permission.

V · Questions, softly

Before you knock.

Is this a spiritual practice or a party?

It is, unapologetically, both. Our retreats hold long silences and longer dances. We take the sacred seriously enough to let it be joyful.

Do I need experience with meditation or plant medicine?

No. We meet people where they are. The library and weekly practices are for absolute beginners; the retreats are scaffolded carefully by experience level.

What does "Mindful Hedon" mean, really?

Presence without austerity. Pleasure without numbness. The insistence that your appetites are not the enemy of your awakening — they are the path.

How do I apply to the Inner Circle?

Click "Begin the application" above. It's short — five questions. We read every one by hand, and reply within seven days.
